WOMEN'S 2010 SUMMER HOCKEY LEAGUE AT PETTIT NATIONAL ICE CENTER
What: Women's Summer league 10 game season
Where: Pettit National Ice Center
When: Sat and Wed.'s June 5 thru August 25
Who: All Girls/Women ages 16+
What it is all About: Summer is a time for just having fun with the game. We will divide all teams into equal skill levels with beginner to Advanced on each team. We ask that the stronger skaters play hard against the ones of their skill level and allow some time for the newer skaters to skate with the puck. This is not about who can score the most goals but for all to improve in all areas while having fun doing it.
Cost: Skater $135 / Goalie $50
Other Information: The length of ice has been extended to 75 minutes per game allowing for more playing time. We will run 5 teams this year with a max of 13 skaters per team.
Deadline: May 15, 2010 for registering. If after this date e-mail Sue Mishler suemishler@yaoo.com for availability.
We will stop taking applications when the teams fill up so get your reg. form and payment in early.
Teams: Teams will be finalized by Tuesday May 25th.
You will receive an e-mail on May 25th as to your team name, jersey color and schedule.
Jerseys: To keep costs down we will have a jersey swap this year. If you have a Metro jersey please bring it to the Pettit on Saturday May 29th at 10:00 am for exchange or give your jersey to Sue Mishler or Laurie Harrigan at any time. Please put it in a bag with your name on it.If you do not have a jersey to swap or choose not to then you may wear one of the same color as your team.
Ice Times: This year because of rink work at Pettit, our first 2 weeks will be on Saturday. and Sunday. The remaining games will be on Wednesday evenings, start times as early at 6:30 pm and as late at 8 pm. Ice slots listed below.
